He does act like a man who just doesn't get it.
If we in Brooklyn hadn't just been through the Clarence Norman trial, where another corrupt politician tried to claim that he was the victim of a political vendetta, and subsequently was convicted by a jury a lot of people thought would acquit him, I might give DeLay some credit. For now, I will stick with Toothy Tommy as my nickname for him unless I think of a better one.
He can take his case to the public all he wants. The only vote that matters is the vote of the jury.
